Lauren Weisberger (born 1977, Scranton, Pennsylvania) is an American novelist and author of the bestseller The Devil Wears Prada, a semi-fictional description based on her employment as assistant to Vogue editor-in-chief. Weisberger is a graduate of Cornell University, and she lives in New York.
