Raymond E. Feist (born 1945, Los Angeles) is an American fantasy fiction author. He graduated from the University of California at San Diego with B.A. in Communication Arts. He is known especially of the fantasy series Riftwar, Kondor, and Empire. His books have been translated into multiple languages and have sold over 15 million copies.
